WHAT IS IEA?
The Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) is a group of teams from all over the country made up of 4th-12th grade students and Adult riders 21+ not enrolled at a college with an IHSA team. IEA teams ride at competitions on randomly drawn horses provided by the various teams at the show. The riders compete in equitation on the flat and over fences classes. Riders and teams can qualify for Regional, Zone, and National competitions both individually and as a team.

ALL ABOUT MILL CREEK IEA

The Mill Creek High School IEA Team is one of the longest running school riding teams in our area. Founded in the easlry 200s, it has a solid history of developing young riders and qualifying them as individually ande as a team for Regional, Zone, and National Finals competitions.
Mill Creek IEA is run out of Tu Fox Farm in Auburn, GA, about 10 minutes from Mill Creek High School. Team riders are required to take at least one lesson per week at TFF during the IEA Season (August thru January) and into the post-season if they qualify for these competitions.

Mill Creek had an extremely successful season in 2023-2024!
10 Riders Qualified for REGIONAL Finals - Including our High School Team which was CHAMPION of Region 6 for the 2nd Season in a row! Arrow was Horse of the Region!
4 Riders Qualified for ZONE Finals - Our High School Team was 5th in the Zone! Scottie was Horse of the Show!
2 Riders Qualified for NATIONAL Finals - Ella Landeweer finshed 2nd in the Nation in JV Beginner Walk/Trot & our amazing horses Arrow and Scottie were class winners!
