Tu Fox Farm offers full board which includes a spacious stall, ample turnout, and high quality hay and feed. Horses go out in small groups, some individual turnout available. Board includes unlimited access to the arena with jumps, hot and cold wash rack, and storage for tack and equipment. Reduction in board available for light use in lesson program!
LESSONS
Tu Fox Farm offers beginner through advanced hunter/jumper lessons based on the American Forward Jumping Seat and beginner to intermediate dressage lessons. Lessons are available for purchase individually or monthly/semester. Group and private lessons are available. For the best rate on lessons, academy riders should plan to purchase their lessons a semester at a time.
Beginner riders will start out in private lessons until they reach a riding level where they are comfortable and confident to ride in a group. At this point, they enter our Saturday Morning Academy program where they will spend their time divided between horsemanship activities and arena work. Once they are ready to begin jumping or are looking to hone their skills with more saddle time, weekday afternoon lessons are added, typically on Wednesdays unless horse availability calls for a different day. Riders who are in once-weekly lessons should NOT expect to jump. Due to the increased costs and strain that jumping puts onto our horses and program, an increased commitment is required from riders who expect to jump.

Tu Fox Farm is a horsemanship-based riding program. While growth in the saddle and in the show ring is the ultimate goal, we focus on building the total knowledge of our riders to make them well-rounded in their knowledge and experience with horses. For this reason, all lessons purchased in packages come with the expectation that riders will participate in in-barn horsemanship lessons during inclement weather. While every attempt will be made to ride in each lesson, the experience gained during these ground lessons is invaluable in creating the next generation of horsemen, whether that is as a hobbyist, an owner, a veterinarian, a professional rider, or just a dedicated young horse lover.

As a basis for our horsemanship, we use the USHJA Study Guide, Pony Club manuals, 4H Quiz Bowl and Horse Judging materials, as well as other documents sourced from reputable academic and professional sources.

TRAINING
Prices start at $50Â per Ride
Whether your horse needs a basic foundation, finishing for the show ring, or just maintenance rides, a training package could be just the right plan to keep you on track. Individual rides start at $50 per ride. Packages available starting at $200Â per month for one ride per week!
